Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated 9 August 2026
This policy explains how AXIS collects, uses and protects personal data when studios and their families use the platform, and when visitors browse this website.
What we collect
When you book a demo, join the waiting list, or contact us, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number and studio name — so we can respond to you. When a studio uses AXIS to run its business, the studio (as data controller) collects information about its own students and families, such as contact details, class history, payment records, and — where relevant and with consent — medical information for safeguarding purposes.
How we use it
- To respond to demo requests, waiting-list sign-ups and contact enquiries
- To operate the AXIS platform on behalf of the studios that use it
- To send service updates and, where you've agreed, product news
- To keep the platform secure and to meet our legal obligations
Who we share it with
We use trusted infrastructure and payment providers to operate AXIS. We don't sell personal data. Data is shared only where needed to provide the service, to meet legal requirements, or with your consent.
Your rights
Depending on where you're based, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. If your data is held by a dance school using AXIS, that school is usually the right first point of contact; you can also reach us directly using the details below.
